Overview

The Art Wall is a rotating art space on Public Square located on the back side of the restaurant REBOL on the quadrant in front of the Terminal Tower. Digitally-printed murals by local artists adorn the cafe wall and rotate every three to fourth months, creating a constantly changing outdoor gallery space that inspires conversation among visitors.

our role

As part of our Art Wall program, LAND selects up-and-coming local artists, providing them with a platform to showcase their art at a large scale and an opportunity to be seen. This project is part of LANDFORM, a program created by LAND, which is dedicated to bringing temporary public art to various Downtown public spaces, including Public Square and the Malls.

Since 2016, the Art Wall has been an ongoing project featuring a series of artworks with varied scale and media. We manage the project from artist selection to approvals with our partner Public Square, as well as coordinating the print of the mural done by West Camp. At the end of the mural's lifecycle, the old mural vinyl is either reused by the artists or donated to our friends at Upcycle Parts Shop.

The program began with a generous grant from the Char and Chuck Fowler Family Foundation and continues to be made possible through the Edwin D Northrup II Fund through the PNC Charitable Trusts Grant Review Committee, Thompson Hine, and the Fox Charitable Foundation.
