The background layer of this image is from my Free Body series (2022), where I focused on movement, the colors of nature, and the body as a sculptural form. The second, blue-toned layer is a cyanotype print from the same series, created during a different shoot with a different model. Both models chose to use textiles to enhance their form and explore an outstretched, reaching movement. It feels like a spiritual moment—an embrace of sorts: an embrace with an emotion, an experience, a form of ascension. This piece represents the limitless space we
find ourselves in when we embrace ourselves boldly.
