Veteran nonprofit leader to guide fundraising, marketing, and communications for Cleveland public space organization  

January 10, 2018 (Cleveland, Ohio) – LAND studio today announced that Tara Turner has joined the organization as Senior Director of Development and Communications. Turner will guide fundraising, marketing, and communications for the Cleveland-based public space and public art non-profit best known for its signature project – the $50 million revitalization of Public Square in downtown Cleveland.
 
Turner brings nearly three decades of experience in development and communications, with a deep fluency in Northeast Ohio’s arts and cultural sectors. She most recently served as Interim Chief Advancement Officer at Holden Forests & Gardens, and previously worked in development and communications at The Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Cleveland Zoological Society, and Ideastream.
 
Greg Peckham Executive Director of LAND studio, explained that the organization engaged in a broad search when hiring for the newly created position, and that Turner clearly rose to the top of the large number of applicants. “LAND studio is excited to add someone with Tara’s skill, savvy, and passion to the team,” said Peckham. “In a constantly shifting nonprofit funding environment, Tara’s leadership in generating support for the organization will be a welcome addition.”
