Preview look at "AHA! Festival of Lights" as Cleveland explodes with color: Kristel's CLE

CLEVELAND, Ohio –Lately, the spotlight has been on Cleveland and now, a little color is being added into the mix. Today,"AHA!" festival of lights will unveil to the public to help welcome the start of Gay Games 9 this weekend and celebrate the recent downtown development boom.
 
The outdoor attraction will be on display at Mall B, 300 Lakeside Ave., through Saturday. The winning idea was funded by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture where the setup is designed to "illuminate" the changes in the city's urban landscape.
 
The Main Event: AHA! Cleveland
 
The 411:  There will be three light displays to see including "The Pool," "Public Auditorium 3D Mapping" and "The Global Rainbow." "The Pool" is an interactive light installation on the grass of Mall B.
 
The "Public Auditorium 3D Mapping" is a giant digital light show on the outer walls of Public Auditorium. "The Global Rainbow" will shine colored light beams into the sky with the capacity of being seen from up to 36 miles. Featured artists include Yvette Mattern, Obscura Digital, Jenn Lewin and Ivan Juarez.
 
More Information: The display is free to the public and will be shown at sunset every night.
