Christa Freehands

Overview

My name is Christa Freehands. I am a freelance artist based in Cleveland.

Painting on canvas and fabrics is my dominant medium. Even though I work on a lot of small-scale projects, I have my hands in several different mural projects around the city. Some murals I have participated in were with other artists, but the ones I do on my own truly highlight my style.

Surrealism and some pop or graphic art tend to be my main approach on personal pieces. I also continue to practice different styles with different mediums and color palettes to improve myself. I want people to see my work and feel connected or feel like they know a little more about me.

LAND studio creates places and fosters equitable communities in Cleveland through transformative public art, innovative design, collaborative planning, dynamic programming, and creative placemaking.

Our vision is to make Cleveland a city filled with vibrant, textured places that unite, inspire, and enrich its people.
