The Cleveland Colectivo, a four-year-old Cleveland “giving circle” whose members pool their own money and give it away to innovative projects, has selected six projects and two giving circles for funding in 2009. Reflecting the group’s determination to transform Cleveland, these projects, selected from more than 100 applications, address community issues such as: the arts, sustainability, community development, immigration, health care and youth development....

There's a new statue that's starting to get attention in Cleveland, not just because of its size, but because of where it is.
