Arts in August - Lincoln Park

Date: August 04 from 7:00PM - 10:00PM

Free performance by Cleveland Shakespeare Festival in Lincoln Park. Cleveland Shakespeare Festival provides FREE Shakespeare for everyone. Whether this is your first Shakespeare play or your 100th; whether you come alone or bring a family; whether you stop for a minute while walking your dog or setup an entire picnic to last the evening ― everyone is welcome at Cleveland Shakespeare Festival.
The play, Much Ado About Nothing, tells how the Duke & his men return from war, the hospitality of Noble Leonato, sets a young soldier, Claudio to fall in love with Leonato’s fair daughter, Hero, while reigniting a battle of wits between cynical adversaries, Beatrice & Benedick. A rollicking mix of masquerades, pranks, romance, villainy, and a hearty dose of downright foolishness makes Much Ado a favorite of Shakespeare’s comedies.
