18th Annual Family Fishing Day

Date: July 13 from 9:00AM - 2:00PM

Family Fishing Day on Saturday, July 13th, from 9:00am to 2:00pm, is Doan Brook Watershed Partnership’s largest, annual watershed festival. Each child who registers receives a t-shirt, fully assembled fishing rod and bait, and instructions on baiting and casting a line by Cleveland Metroparks staff. They are then free to fish in the lagoon and are allowed to keep anything they catch! Free lunch to all event participants, along with live music and displays/exhibits by partner organizations including the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, Famicos, NEORSD, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and Cleveland Water Pollution Control.
